About the Visit & Tour of Bois Chéri
Enjoy a beautiful visit of a tea estate and learn while strolling around about the history of the tea industry on the island. You will also discover the art of tea making and get to taste the purely Mauritian tea towards the end of your visit.
A guide will lead you through the factory and the tea plantation, offering you to discover the history, stories and tales of the Bois Chéri and the importance of tea productions in Mauritius. After the guided tour of the tea factory, you will visit the tea production museum learning more about the history of tea in Mauritius.
Nowadays Bois Chéri produces a new range of flavored teas, green teas and herbal teas. You may taste them during your visit. Get ready to be amazed by the richness and freshness of the flavours you are about to taste.
The Bois Chéri offers a great panoramic view of the south of the island. Get your camera ready as you would want to take a piece of this marvellous view with you back home.

Note: There will be no money refund or rescheduling in case clients miss out on the tea production at the Bois Cheri Tea Factory.
The Bois Cheri Tea Factory is open from Monday to Saturday but operates on Wednesdays only. Please note that tea production at the Bois Chéri Tea Factory will be carried out on Wednesdays only, before noon throughout the winter period. Any other tea production shall be notified.
All guides and clients have access to the first floor of the factory only
There is no guarantee of availability of seating at the restaurant.
Entrance is free for babies and toddlers below 5 years old.
