About the Horse Riding Excursion in the South West of Mauritius (Lavilleon Adventure Park)

Far from the city rush, situated in a very peaceful and calm environment, you will be welcomed by very friendly staff and you will get to meet your horse. Following the safety briefing, saddle up and get ready for the horse ride of your life.

Slow things down with this gentle horse-riding activity, where you will be taken off the beaten track to discover the hidden gems of the island. Breathe in the fresh, crisp air and feel the cool breeze brush against your skin as you trot on your horse.

Take this opportunity to explore part of the domain, including the Endemic Forest of 80+ endemic plants as well as an overview of the Cascade Chamarel River.

This horse riding session is ideal for experienced equestrian, casual horseback riders or complete beginners – kid or adult. It does not require past experience and you’ll have a friendly guide by your side to help you have a safe and fabulous time on horseback.

This will be the most memorable 30 minutes of your life and you’re sure to fall in love with this activity and maybe make a new horse friend, creating memories to last forever.

Your activity doesn’t end here; as part of this package, you get a free visit to the Endemic Forest. After your ride, stroll around and explore the captivating forest that houses endemic fauna and flora. About Lavilleon Adventure Park

Lavilleon Adventure Park is situated next to the Seven Colored Earth and it engages in many Touristic Activities varying from Zipline and Nepalese Bridge to Via Ferrata. The domain also has an endemic forest with 85+ plants and is well aware of the importance to preserve its forests so as to protect the value of its natural resources.

Part of the Protected Area Network (PAN) sponsored by the Programme des Nations Unies pour le Développement et le Progrès (PNUD), the park is managed by the Global Environment Facility (GEF) and the Ministry of Agro-Industry

Number of Participants: 2 pax per session
Health restriction: This activity is not recommended for pregnant women.
This activity is suitable for all levels, including those with no prior horse-riding experience.
However, only experienced riders will be allowed to gallop with horses.
Please note that horse riding can be done either one after the other or simultaneously on two different horses, subject to the park’s discretion.
Reservation must be done and confirmed at least 48 hours in advance.
